About Me:My name is Clifford, I have been bowling since I was 7 years old, basically I followed my father's love for the sport. Today i am serving my country (USMC) for about 10 years now, and during my free time I bowl in all types of tournaments. Right now we just started out summer league. I am currently holding 200 average with obviously a 0 handicap. I am very competitive when it comes to the sport. I tend to get mad at myself if I don't make it to the lanes even when i am to busy. I try to place myself around good bowlers, because in my opinion the better your competition is, the better you become.

Dislikes:Anything that pisses me off for example. A tight pocket hit, but I leave a deep 7 Pin. I am a left handed bowler so you feel my pain.
Bowling friends and fans across the globe. there comes a time in life when you ask yourself... "Self, Why.... You let me down again. Well bowling bretheren and sister's, i am back. The military kinda took me away from the sport that is near and dear to me, in order to accomplish mission essential task. Well anyway's June 19 2007 Tues Night League. in the wonderful and beautiful island of Okinawa. Warm up game opened up with 168, 179 for the second. Now here is what kills me. 3rd game i guess you can say that i am warmed up. I strike out up to the 7th frame, 8th frame the whole alley decides they wanted to come off their games and see if this "south paw'' will actually bowl a perfect game. Well when you have everyone staring down the back of your neck. Alright, Alright I freakin "CHOKED". I leave a solid 6. I picked up my spare 9th and 1st ball in the 10th I strike. 2nd ball s6 leaving 4 pins standing hard. I finished with a 261 scratch and a 278 HDCP.

Hello the name is cliff shaw USMC for 10 years now. Currently I am stationed on Okinawa, almost finished with my tour over here. I have been bowling since I was seven both recreational and league style. i am here to this site to meet people, get advice on bowling and just make friends.
I don't know what happened to me last night, but it felt like i was a novice bowler. Not controlling my ball properly, falling on my approach, 7 pin mania. My first game last night was like I just bowling for recreation not bowling for score. Not to win. My score for the first game was a whopping 148. I don't remember the last time I ever bowled that low. The lanes were drying out to fast last night. And we could not control what fate the lanes had for us last night. My second game waws a little better, a 186 so I was improving. My last and final game i finally broke my average and bowled a 205. My series total was 539. The lanes beat me up pretty bad last night, so hopefully next Tuesday I should be ok.
Well I bowled as a sub last night and I must say that I am pretty impressed with my efforts last night. My scores (222,225,215), with a series of 662. Pretty good night.
